Ilaria is an English speaking guide living in Sorrento and is passionate about her home town and its culture and history.

Sorrento is a wonderful town on the beautiful mediterranean coast and is a great base to visit some of the most amazing sites in the world such as the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Naples, Herculaneum, Mount Vesuvius and of course Capri!

In the summer this part of Italy is bustling with tourists, strolling around you’ll meet people from all over the world fascinated by the sunsets, the scent of the flowers and the amazing views.

Spend your time in Sorrento just relaxing, and then take day trips out, but don’t forget that the south of Italy is famous for its fantastic cuisine. It is the home of the pizza but also has a wonderful gastronomic history and culture. Learn to make authentic pasta, indulge in the amazing range of ice creams and sample the fantastic wines!
