What you'll do

Overview

North Wales is the adventure capital of Europe, and with so much to do, cramming it all into 36 hours should be impossible, but we've designed the ultimate exclusive tour so that you really can experience it all.

Dates: On Request

Please note, if you have a private group of 4 or more, you can book this experience for your group all year. Please let us know your preferred date and we will do our best to accommodate you.

This unique experience is perfect to share with those closest to you. Designed for just 2 – 4 people, you’ll be taken on a whirlwind adrenaline tour of North Wales.

From flying through the mountains on the fastest zipline in the world, plummeting from limestone cliffs, scrambling along incredible coastlines and trekking through slate mines, to camping wild in the rugged mountains, this weekend packs an insane amount of action into a neat little package.

We’ll ensure this non-stop adrenaline rush helps you see the very best of North Wales’ dramatic natural beauty, and that you enjoy it in the most exciting way possible. Strap in, because this one is a whirlwind.

Zipwires, coastlines & wild camping

Make sure you’re well rested, the next 36 hours is going to be big. You’ll be picked up at around 8am, and with no time to hang about, it’s straight off to ZipWorld, the home of Velocity2.

This is the definition of jumping in at the deep end, as you’ll be briefed, strapped in, and shot through the pure mountain air at over 100mph, over the sheer cliffs of an old slate quarry, the dramatic mountains of Snowdonia rising dramatically either side of you.

The fastest zipline in the world, and the longest in Europe at roughly one mile long, is a true once-in-a-lifetime experience, as you fly freely amongst the incredible scenery.

Once your feet are firmly back on the ground, we’re off to Holyhead on the island of Anglesey, the birthplace of coasteering. There’s time for a quick lunch stop, then it’s time to leap, quite literally, back into the action.

There’s no better way to truly experience and feel in touch with this wild, rugged coastline than by scrambling along narrow ridges and cliffs, taking leaps of faith into the fresh Irish Sea below for a big hit of adrenaline.

Explore the dramatic scenery and spot the local wildlife: sea birds, the odd seal, and fascinating macro life in the many rock pools.

After this, shower off the salty seawater and grab your overnight kit, as we’re off back to the mainland and the wilds of Snowdonia. Enjoy the secluded trails and setting sun on an evening hike, then camp in complete solitude on a wild camp under the stars.

Wherever we set up camp, we’ll enjoy some simple, hearty meals, and with luck, relax beneath a dark canvas scattered with clouds of stars. Snowdonia is a designated International Dark Sky Reserve, so there’s no better place to lie back and simply stare at the wonders above you.

Sun rise hike & Llangollen

We’ll be up early so that you can catch one of the most surreal, beautiful sights in this corner of paradise – the sun rising over the horizon, bathing the mountainsides in a warm, golden hue as the landscape stirs back into life.

After a quick brew and some traditional Welsh cakes, we’ll pack up and set off on our dawn hike in the incredible light of the early morning.

Once back to our vehicle, we’ll have another light breakfast so that you’re fully fuelled for the day ahead, then head to the picturesque town of Llangollen for your first adrenaline rush of the day.

On the waterways here, you’re going to have a go at extreme riverbugging, which involves a small, individual raft, lying down facefirst with your face just inches from the water, and using your hands as paddles as you navigate your way through rushing rapids.

Swerve around rocks, fly down narrow rapids, and even have a go at surfing as you grin your way down the entire length of this course.

You’re sure to have worked up a big appetite by now, so we’ll grab a lunch from the watersports cafe and then you’ll be whisked off to your next activity.

By 1pm you’ve camped, hiked and riverbugged, and the day isn’t about to slow up any time soon. By now, you’re sure to have spotted the looming limestone cliffs that dominate the town, and these will form the basis of your last great experience.

Under the guidance of a qualified instructor, you’ll climb and abseil these imposing, sheer crags, unlocking your inner Alex Honnold as you scale these cliffs and step backwards into thin air from the heady heights at the summit.

Then, it’s finally time to say goodbye to Wales. You can finally rest as we drive you back to your city centre base, and be satisfied in the knowledge that you really have packed everything you could in on this whirlwind 36 hours.

What our travellers are saying...

It was my very first time to Wales and I was not disappointed. My tour guide Claire carefully guided me through a non stop 36 hour adventure - from zipwiring in Bethesda to coasteering on the Anglesy coast, to backpacking in Snowdonia, to riverbugging to climbing. I am so happy I found this tour company because now I know dreams can come true and to top it off I got to witness a side of Wales and the UK that I didn't even know existed.

JJ

Thanks for some great activities, good food, comfortable hotels. And for the fantastic guides!
