What you'll do

Get to grips with the very best mountain biking trails in this haven of rocky descents and stunning natural surroundings, thanks to your local expert guide on a private tour of the Brecon Beacons.

Meet your guide at a prearranged meeting point, then get ready to leave the trail centres behind and take to the 200km of natural trails in the wilderness of the Brecon Beacons.

From beginners trails to tough, technical routes, enjoy the freeing sensation of getting out and taming this wild landscape on two wheels on some of the best mountain biking trails in the world.

This experience allows you to relax and focus solely on the riding, as your expert instructor with an intimate knowledge of the trails that criss-cross the national park, will offer up a bespoke experience that best suits you.

Whether that’s on flowing single-tracks or technical rocky descents, your qualified local guide will help you gain the riding skills to make the most of them.

Based in the Brecon Beacons, Huw and his team have been providing guided mountain biking & hiking adventures throughout Wales for all abilities since 2009. They are all fully qualified and experienced locally based guides, as well as Brecon Beacons National Park Ambassadors. Every year, they donate 1% of their annual sales turnover to support local voluntary organisations that protect and enrich the environment they work in.

Location

Every ride takes place in the Brecon Beacons National Park, with many in the area around Abergavenny or Crickhowell.

Each ride is entirely bespoke and tailored to you, so your guide will organise a meeting point based on the level of ride you want, what kind of trails you want to experience and what is convenient for you.

If you’re staying in the area, your guide will generally try to choose a meeting point no more than a 20 minute drive from your accommodation.

FAQs

Trips can be arranged for groups of 1-12 people. Prices start at £160 for a group up to five people, then it is £20 per each additional person.

Mountain biking is available on request on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, year round, and are subject to availability.

The cancellation fee for bike hire is 100% if within 14 days of adventure date or 50%(bike hire deposit) outside of 14 days.
