What you'll do

Overview

See the local side to this slice of paradise, and enjoy exquisite local seafood, pristine white-sand beaches and incredible snorkeling opportunities, as well as a few offbeat experiences that get you under the skin of the island.

Phu Quoc, just off the coastline of Vietnam and Cambodia, is Vietnam’s largest island. It boasts incredible beaches – the kind which you only ever see on postcards, all white sand, fringed by palm trees, and warm, crystal clear waters – bustling fishing villages and vibrant markets.

Upon your arrival on Phu Quoc, you’ll be taken straight to your accommodation, then it’s time to immerse yourself in this wonderful corner of the world by hiking cool, clear running streams, visiting pearl farms, learning about the fish sauce process, seeing old pagodas and wine distilleries.

As well as the local enterprises and the wonderful inland scenery, you’ll also have chance to enjoy some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and even snorkel in the warm, clear water of the Gulf of Thailand. If you’re on the hunt for winter sun experiences, look no further than this tropical paradise.

While away the hours and enjoy the sea breeze in a hammock, go exploring on a kayak, and enjoy some of the most delicious seafood you’ve ever tasted. End your trip knowing you’ve enjoyed Phu Quoc to its fullest, whilst seeing the quirks and local side to the island that many tourists don’t see.

Arrive in Paradise

We advise you arrive in Phu Quoc by taking the morning flight from Ho Chi Minh City and then get taken straight to your accommodation, where you’ll have some time to refresh before your guide takes you for lunch at a local seafood spot.

After eating, head to the biggest fishing port and village in Phu Quoc before trekking Tranh Stream (May-Nov only). A beautiful chain of ethereal waterfalls and natural pools amongst lush jungle, it’s an amazing place for a refreshing dip in the clear, rushing waters.

Visit Hung Long Tu Pagoda and a traditional fish sauce processing house, before heading back to Duong Dong town to visit the Sim wine distillery and have dinner at another local restaurant.

Then, it’s back to the hotel for a free evening.
