What you'll do

Join this cycling day in the beautiful Mae Taeng valley located an hour’s from Chiang Mai city. Ride your mountain-bike on trails and little used roads winding through rice paddies, plantations and villages before enjoying a refreshing dip at the "sticky" waterfall.

Meet at your hotel in Chiang Mai at around 8:30, before taking a one hour transfer to the Mae Taeng valley where we begin the trip.

Follow your expert guide on a cultural cycling ride through the Mae Ngat valley, where you’ll learn about the rice farming process cycling in this fertile valley, where rice can grow all year long due to the irrigation from the nearby Mae Ngat Dam.

Get a glimpse of Buddhism culture at the spectacular Wat Ban Den temple and reward your exploration with an authentic Thai lunch set in a tropical garden. Finally, enjoy a refreshing stop at the famous “sticky waterfall” before returning to Chiang Mai, one of the highlights of this trip. This day experience is a great mix of adventure and culture and certainly a perfect outing for families with teens.

Martin

I have spent many years travelling through Thailand and have made many lasting memories and friendships. The region is rich in natural beauty and culture and offers one of the greatest culinary kitchens in the world. Many years have passed and I still think that the people are everything and I'm still surprised at the hospitality and friendliness. Working in travel is a passion for me and I enjoy helping our customers to enjoy all the best that Thailand has to offer.
