Your second day is spent as a true Valencian local, as you explore local markets, pick up your own fresh produce, before using it during a paella cooking class that will help you learn about the local, authentic cuisine. In the evening, you’ll be sampling some of the best wine that’s local to the Valencia region, each wine paired with some tapas dishes you will only find in this part of Spain.

Throw in a free day to explore for yourself and travel independently, and you have a unique, off the beaten track city break that goes beyond your standard long weekend, and helps to create memories that last a lifetime.

Then, you’ll use that produce in a group paella cooking class, where you’ll learn the secrets of how to make a real, authentic paella with top quality ingredients.

After enjoying your paella for lunch with a glass of wine, enjoy a bit of free time in the afternoon before your evening wine and tapas tour. Valeria

Born in Valencia (Spain) to Chilean parents, I graduated in Tourism Industry studies which took me to Germany, later, to Uruguay where I finished my degree final project on Wine Tourism. Later I studied sommelier courses WSET Level3 and in 2018 I was fortunate enough to be granted a scholarship by the Taiwanese Government to learn Mandarin Chinese. I feel blessed that I have learned all these different languages at the same time as becoming a cultural ambassador of my destination, as an official licensed guide (in English, German and Mandarin) in Valencia, Castellón & Alicante. Also, riding a bike is my hobby so in 2021 I published a guidebook "The Best Bike Routes in and around Valencia".

Join me on foot or by bike, I would love to show my guests around, taking them off the beaten paths!
