Alongside marine biologists, you will observe, listen and get to know cetaceans (dolphins and whales) and other groups of animals; birds, turtles, fishes on a scientific yet thrilling look into their lives.
This experience is focused on observation, data collection and conservation of the marine environment. You will depart from the port of Las Galletas, dock number 4 to enter the Teno-Rasca marine protected area, a unique site that is part of the Natura 2000 Conservation Network, with 22 reported cetacean species.
You will be able to observe these incredible animals and to listen to them with the hydrophone on board the vessel. This will allow you to get a real insight in to the personality of each of these stunning creatures.
With the explanations of a qualified professional, this trip goes beyond simply looking at some whales, it’s a chance to learn about the natural environment, what makes it tick and why each animal is so important to the local ecosystem.
