Learn Spanish in San Sebastian on this popular 1 week Spanish course at this friendly language school suitable for all levels from elementary to advanced; you’ll be amazed at how much you pick up on a Spanish language holiday in San Sebastian as Spanish lessons can be put into practice every day.

Whatever your level; learning Spanish in San Sebastian is the best way to accelerate your language learning experience. Immerse yourself in the local Spanish culture and progress rapidly practising your new found skills in your free time.

Your Spanish course will be taught by highly qualified native Spanish speakers who have a passion for teaching and use proven teaching techniques.

Lessons are highly interactive, you’ll be taught in Spanish and you will speak Spanish from day 1 both inside and outside of the classroom.

A Typical Day

– Spanish classes run daily Monday through to Friday each week
– Language classes start at 9.15am each morning year round
– Please note that in high season, some Spanish classes will start at 1pm depending on your language level
– You will have 4 group classes per day lasting 45 minutes each
– You will have a short coffee break around 11am

What can I do in my free time?
Many people on these holiday courses travel solo as they make perfect singles holidays so the language school organises a host of social and cultural activities each week to help you to get to know your fellow classmates and to integrate you into the Spanish way of life, some activities are free and others have a small charge and may include:
– Visits to San Sebastian, excursions to Fishing Villages, guided visits to museums and more
– You have the opportunity to join dancing lessons or beach-volley games
– Weekend excursions to Pamplona, La Rioja, Madrid, Barcelona, Paris and more can be arranged
– You will have plenty of free time to explore the local area and practice your new found Spanish skills or just kick back and relax on this fun learning holiday

Where can I stay?
You’re welcome to make your own arrangements so you can pick accommodation to suit your needs, however, optional accommodation can be booked in addition to your language course with a local host family. This friendly Spanish language school is located in stylish and vibrant city of San Sebastian, just 5 minutes from the Zurriola surfers’ beach on the wild and beautiful Atlantic coast of Spain in the heart of Spain’s Basque region.

A taxi from San Sebastian airport to the town centre takes around 20 minutes and costs approximately €40.

When can I start?

- The school is open year round with a break for Christmas
- Spanish courses start on Mondays throughout the year
- If you book the optional accommodation with this learning holiday, you’ll check-in on Sunday before the course starts

Spanish language level test

Please arrive at the school by 8.45am (8.30am if your course starts in July or August) on your first day for a short level test
- This test will assess your understanding of the language and will help the course organisers to place you in the right group class for your level

Please note that the following public holidays take place and may affect lessons:

For all public holidays, the school is closed but all lessons will be made up during the week.

No lessons will be held from 21 December 2020 to 4 January 2021 for the Christmas holidays.

More about the optional accommodation

Homestays
You will be made to feel perfectly at home living with one of the local families and this makes for a wonderful experience. Half board includes breakfast and dinner.

All home stays are located in different areas of San Sebastián and in general you do not need more than 15 minutes by bus to the center or the school.

Shared Apartment
Stay in an apartment shared with other language students and/or Spanish people, depending on availability. You will have your own room and will share a kitchen and bathroom. Rooms are safe and clean and all apartments are regularly inspected by the school. Accommodation is within 20 minutes of the language school on foot or via public transport but transport is not generally needed. A weekly cleaning service is provided for those who stay longer than 1 week. Prices are based on arrivals on the Sunday evening before your course starts and ends at 12pm on the Saturday morning after your course has finished.
