    Springtime in Spain is beautiful – and for those living in colder European countries, it is a great choice for a quick sunny getaway before the crowds arrive with the summer. In fact, it could be the ideal season to visit – especially for activity holidays in Spain. Slightly cooler temperatures, fewer people and less crowding from tourists in the cities mean that there are often great deals to be found on accommodation.

    Summer is the most popular time to visit Spain. Its hot weather is irresistible to travellers coming from all over the world. Dry and sunny, tourists are almost guaranteed good weather – although prices will generally be higher and there is likely to be larger crowds all over the country.

    October is a popular time to visit Spain, as the warm temperatures make it the perfect time to get a final dose of sunshine before winter sets in. Dry weather is less guaranteed, but this could be the perfect time to explore cities like Barcelona, Madrid and Seville that otherwise might have unbearable heat in the summertime.

    Although Spain is wetter and cold in some places in the south, the weather remains mild and pleasant even in winter.
