What you'll do

Tour Cape Peninsula Adventure

Your local guide will show you the rich tapestry that is Cape Town including wonderful views, historical sites, cultural influences and of course the vibrant street art. You will discover the hidden secrets of Cape Town that only a local tour guide could know. Amongst the many highlights, this tour will include a visit to a superb Microbrewery known for its fine beers. Here we indulge in a beer and food pairing lunch before winding on along the coastal road enjoying the beautiful scenery and the opportunity to see a pod of dolphins or carving whales en route – depending on the season of course.

Chapman’s Peak Drive

Continuing our journey south along the cold Atlantic seaboard, we reach the famous Chapman’s Peak Drive. This astounding road was originally carved into the mountain cliffs by Italian prisoners of war between 1915 and 1922. It has subsequently undergone several engineering modifications following its closure in 1990. This is a well known and popular route in our Tour Cape Peninsula Urban Safari as it offers several iconic photo opportunities presented by the picturesque views of Hout Bay, the Sentinel Mountain and the miles and miles of shimmering white sands of Noordhoek beach as it stretches off into the distance towards Kommetjie.

Noordhoek Wine Farm and Back to Clifton

Continuing on we next stop at one of Cape Town’s most charming wine farms for a wine tasting. With magnificent views over the local seaside village of Noordhoek and the distant Kommetjie lighthouse. To end the tour we amble back towards Cape Town stopping off for sundowners at a secret location for overlooking the popular, internationally recognised, Clifton Beaches. All in all a relaxed and personalised way to experience the wonders of Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula.

Upon arrival, this couple travelled extensively around their new city. As tourists themselves, it became clear that Cape Town was the best city in the world but it was missing something. Before settling in they embarked on an African adventure and thanks to many long bus journeys and a lot of time to ponder, the Kiff Kombi Tours idea was born.

“It’s usually South Africans moving to Australia, however for Sophie and I, we are bucking the trend and have made the move to the Rainbow Nation. People often ask why Cape Town, and the answer is always, well have a look at this place.”

What a cool tour! The kombi steals the show - gorgeously decorated and super comfortable there is no better way to see the beauty of Cape Town. You get a taste of everything with this tour - the culture and history of Cape Town when you visit Woodstock and district 6, the beautiful scenery of the coast line and cape and a fabulous introduction to some of the bars and wineries with a beer AND wine tasting. The guides are friendly, well informed an

Pros: Everything. Music, amazing sights/stops, learning the history, great conversation Cons: I don't live in SA and won't get to do this every weekend. My family and I were in SA for my sister's wedding and wanted something to do as a group. Drew and Sophie didn't seem like tour guides...I kind of felt like they were my long lost best friends. I learned a lot and saw a side of Cape Town that I'm sure I wouldn't have experienced otherwise. 10/1

I had an amazing time on this tour. This tour is the part of the vacation I talk about the most when telling friends and family back home. The scenery was amazing as South Africa is very beautiful. I bought a camera specifically for our time here and this tour alone made that investment worthwhile. I really enjoyed hearing about the history of South Africa, Sophie and Drew were very honest and informative when taking us to historical places. Anyo
