Calling all craft beer lovers! Hop on board the Kombi for a Cape Town craft beer tour perfect for a Bachelors party, beer connoisseurs or those seeking a good time. Kiff Kombi Tours’ very own Craft Beer Safari visits four of the coolest craft breweries in town.

Cape Town is fast becoming a must-do pilgrimage for Craft Beer enthusiasts, so Lads and Lasses who love good beer, this tour is for you! A Kombi road trip with epic tunes around Cape Town’s best craft breweries = one hell of a day out!

The tour starts off with a tasting at a brewery that has been dubbed one of the best in the country. The next stop is where the party truly begins; a rustic brewery where taproom resembles a ship, as well as having arguably some of the best views on the mountain from their beer garden, where you will have a tour, tasting and a lekker South African braai. We then head to a craft beer mecca – an awesome brewery that has beer-drinking ambience comparable to anywhere in the world. The final brewery is in a sleepy beachside town, where you will be sure to meet colourful and friendly locals at the popular taproom.

This Cape Town craft beer tour is a must do experience; rain, hail or shine! Please note breweries will be subject to change on given days.

Please note, there is a Stellenbosch version of our Craft Beer Safari, which includes 4 breweries and a traditional South African braai ( barbeque) lunch for the same price.

Kiff Kombi Tours was started by a couple of Australian travellers who have roots in many countries around the world. The company’s owner, Drew Campbell, was born in South Africa but moved to Australia with his family at a young age. He held a deep connection with the ‘motherland’ and always dreamt of returning to live permanently. Coming back to visit family and friends many years later, he fell in love all over again and swore that he’d be back.

Upon arrival, this couple travelled extensively around their new city. As tourists themselves, it became clear that Cape Town was the best city in the world but it was missing something. Before settling in they embarked on an African adventure and thanks to many long bus journeys and a lot of time to ponder, the Kiff Kombi Tours idea was born.

“It’s usually South Africans moving to Australia, however for Sophie and I, we are bucking the trend and have made the move to the Rainbow Nation. People often ask why Cape Town, and the answer is always, well have a look at this place.”
