Firstly, you will be taken to go whale and dolphin watching along the stunning coast of Portugal. While whale and dolphin watching you will have the opportunity to watch more than 25 cetacean species.
Although nature offers no guarantees, whales and dolphins are regularly seen during our full-day tours, along with turtles, seabirds and other marine life.
Before the boat trip, our biologists will brief the group to explain which cetacean species can be observed, how we respect the animals and rules of observation at sea, historical facts of the region and safety measures aboard.
This is the perfect opportunity to learn about the sea and marine life conservancy, especially regarding animals in captivity versus in the wild.
Next, you will be taken on a van tour of the gorgeous Lagoa do Fogo, seeing some of the most magnificient highlights of São Miguel Island.
Enjoy the beauty contained in the Nature Reserve of Fogo, witnessing secondary volcanic activity and bathing in the natural warm waters of Fogo volcano.
Whilst here, you will also have the chance to learn more about how São Miguel produces electricity!
At the end of the day, you will be taken back to your hotel to unwind for the rest of the evening.
