What you'll do

A full day of Yucatan history and culture, this day experience takes you to one of the most incredible architectural sites in Mexico, a beautiful, off the beaten track cenote, and immerses you in colonial culture and cuisine in the city of Valladolid.

Selected as one of the new wonders of the World Chichén Itzá is one of the most spectacular archeological sites and a ‘must see’ for anyone visiting Mexico who has an interest in history and culture. The site is one of the most studied of Mexico’s ancient cities, allowing us unrivalled insight into the secrets of this fascinating civilisation and of what the city once looked like

Your expert guide will lead you through the centuries of history and development, as well as help you understand the amazing architectcture, art and engineering integrated into the city.

The cenote you will visit, far from the crowds and run by the locals in the area, will transport you to a world that feels secluded and mystical. Go for a dip beneath the huge natural skylight and float in the clean, clear water, before heading to your next destination.

Valladolid is a city where past and present collide, to leave us with beautiful, colourful colonial architecture, as well as a unique gastronomic scene that combines colonial influences with Mayan roots

You will lunch in the courtyard of a restored colonial mansion, and have time to wander the square and nearby streets of the centre of the city for some great photo opportunities, craft shopping and a taste of slow-paced Mexican life.
