What you'll do

The perfect off-the-beaten-track bike tour for those looking to escape the tourist trails and taste the real spirit of Umbria, for a day of exploring the beautiful outdoors and drinking exquisite wines.

Once you’ve met your guide at the bike shop in Torre del Colle, you’ll embark on a unique journey through the rolling hills and green, fertile valleys of Umbria, amongst the very vineyards where the world-class wines you’ll drink begin their journey from vine to bottle.

You’ll see medieval hilltop villages, fortified castles and ancient olive groves as you cruise along the picturesque lanes and quiet country roads. Then, you’ll head for a fun and relaxing ride through the olive groves and vineyards of the Sangratino wine-growing area.

Here, you will have an exclusive visit to a boutique winery and enjoy a delicious wine-testing session, paired with food samples of classic Umbrian dishes. This is a real chance to get to know the relatively unknown cuisine of the region and get a true taste for authentic Umbria.

I set up a business in Umbria with my boyfriend because we were both working as tour leaders and we wanted to settle down. He is the cyclist, while I'm very interested in Italian food and wine culture. We chose Umbria as our home. We love the quietness and the beautiful green countryside and amazing food. Sustainability is something that we are very interested in particularly in regard to tourism. We definitely wanted to do the tours with bikes and do things local so that we could uphold these values. We realised that combining these values could create something nice and something that people can truly enjoy.

What our travellers are saying...

We had a fabulous tour of the medieval town of Bevagna, theater, and paper making mill house. We rode bikes through the beautiful countryside and had lunch and wine tasting at a small family vineyard. The food and wine were delicious and we ordered bottles to ship home. Our guide, Daniele, was very amiable and enthusiastic. He made us feel very special and was keen on making sure we were enjoying ourselves. He also took lots of photos during our

We had a wonderful experience with Laura & Daniele. They were knowledgable, helpful and enjoyable to spend time with, plus they made sure our kids (11 and 8-yr olds) were comfortable and having fun. We would definitely recommend them! They also gave us several tips for the rest of our vacation in Italy!

This was one of the best things we did on our 2 week vacation in Italy. Daniele gave us a great tour of the beautiful country side of Umbria. We ended up at a great winery where a full meal was made just for us. We did a full wine tasting which all the wines were amazing. I would definitely recommend this tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed our bike/wine day tour with Daniele and Laura! They provided a delightful & informative experience. Every part of the day was just what we had hoped for and was also documented with Daniele's creative photography skills. This pair is to be commended for helping make such a terrific memory of our time in Umbria! We hope to return for more exploration of the area in the future with this fun company. Grazie mille!
