What you'll do

A truly wild adventure on the beautiful, weatherbeaten Irish coast, you'll glide past dramatic sea cliffs and through hidden caves, known only to the locals who will bring the wilderness to life with stories of epic battles and old tales.

Once you’ve met your guide and hopped in your kayak, you’ll paddle out of a secret cove into the expanse of the Irish Sea, where you’ll explore the incredible Hook Peninsula, a series of dramatic arches and rock formation that stand between the fresh, clear sea and the rolling green fields and hills of County Wexford.

You’ll be shown this landscape from an entirely unique perspective by a local guide, who has the advantage of knowing the most beautiful spots, the stories behind the scenery and the wildlife that swims alongside you in the water, and will share all this with you.

At the midpoint of the tour, you’ll stop at a hidden cove or a deserted beach and soak in the isolation of your surroundings as you reenergize with a hot drink and a snack, before leaping back into your kayak to see what other treasures await on this stretch of cliffs, caves and beaches.

En route, you may find the friendly local seals tailing your kayaks to see what you’re up to, or spot dolphins or basking sharks inhabiting the same waters as you discover the incredible marine wildlife.

Whatever your skill level, this expedition gives you the chance to experience the freeing sensation of being out in the wilderness, tasting the Celtic salt water on your lips and feeling the fresh, clean air of true wilderness blow over you, as you negotiate sea swell and rugged coastal formations.

This is a quintessential Irish experience on the south coast, and one not to be missed if you want to truly explore the magnificent sea caves, golden sand beaches and wild open spaces of this land.

A natural adventurer and adrenalin junkie, there is little Graham hasn’t done – from negotiating raging rapids in New Zealand to jumping out of perfectly good planes at 19,000 feet. During his travels, he was struck by two things – the lack of dedicated adventure tourism providers in Ireland, and more importantly the potential this beautiful country has to host adventure travellers.

Graham believes that new experiences and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone is what ultimately defines you as a person. With his qualifications, experience and team of experts around him, he wants you to have your own adventure.

This tour was a great way to spend the afternoon. From the friendly greeting at check in, to the 2 tour guides on the water, the whole experience was excellent. There was plenty of time spent out on the water. If you are heading to Wexford, this is a must.
