What you'll do

Overview

Experience all of Iceland's wonders with this 3 day experience. Relax in the Blue Lagoon. Search for the Northern lights on a local cruise. Discover the hot springs and waterfalls, trek into ice caves and explore a glacier onboard a snowmobile.

Fly into Keflavik airport, where you will be picked up and taken straight to your beautiful accommodation in the centre of Reykjavik, your base for an incredible short break in this corner of Iceland.

Then, embark on the adventure of a lifetime, spending your first day soaking in the warm, rejuvenating waters of the Blue Lagoon, before heading out on a night cruise into the dark bays far from the lights of Reykjavik, to stare in awe of the magical Northern Lights.

On your second day, you’ll delve deep into the Icelandic wilderness and explore mighty glaciers by snowmobile, before discovering vast lava fields, steaming hot springs and rushing waterfalls.

As you’re returned to the airport after a whirlwind few days, you’ll be able to look back upon an experience-packed activity holiday in Iceland that has created memories that’ll last a lifetime.

Arrival, Blue Lagoon & Northern Lights

Upon arrival you will transfer from the airport to the Blue Lagoon which is located between Reykjavík City and the international airport. There you will get to enjoy a Comfort Entrance package which includes a use of towels, a silica mud mask and a drink of your choice.

The Blue Lagoon is a unique geothermal pool in Iceland. The lagoon’s water is rich in a mineral called Silica which works wonders on your skin and gives the lagoon its trademark blue colour.

After the Lagoon you will continue to your hotel in Reykjavík. There you will have some time to settle in and grab dinner before you are picked up for the Northern Lights Cruise in the evening.

On the tour we will take you out into the dark blue yonder of Faxaflói bay in search for the mystical phenomenon we call the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights. Our open top viewing decks provide the perfect platform for witnessing the dazzling spectacle while our heated indoor lounge is a great place to take a break and warm up in between sightings.

Our expert guide will be at hand to answer your questions while you enjoy Mother Nature’s light show and starry skies wrapped up in one of our warm overalls. On board you will find several outdoor viewing platforms and a large indoor saloon with toilet facilities and café where you can buy light refreshments.

Please note that we do not guarantee seeing the Northern Lights, they are a natural phenomenon completely out of our control. We promise you we will try our best though, with experienced guides and good weather forecasts. In case the tour tonight gets cancelled OR you go out and don’t successfully see the Northern Lights, we will be delighted to welcome you again on your next evening for free.
