What you'll do

Overview

Enjoy an unforgettable experience in Iceland. Relax in the Blue Lagoon and head out on a whale watching tour in the wild Atlantic Ocean. On top of this, you will visit some of the hidden gems in Reykjavik and try the local cuisine.

Your trip will start with a relaxing soak in the Blue Lagoon, considered one of the New Wonders of the World. Bathe in the warm and therapeutic mineral water, de-stress and get in the holiday mood, ready for your Icelandic short break.

Then, experience the ultimate whale watching tour from Reykjavík – join our hosts and the experienced team in the search for whales and dolphins of Faxaflói bay, and create incredible memories off the coast of Iceland.

The next day, you will enjoy a relaxed food walk of the city joining a small group led by an entertaining local guide who will show you all the ‘must visit’ eateries and some local secret food stops giving you the chance to try delicious local produce of the island washed down with some local drinks. You will learn all about the history of the Icelanders, some myths, legends and anecdotes as you get to know this lovely city.

Blue Lagoon & Whale Watching

On arrival you will be met by your driver and driven to one of the ‘New Wonders of the World’ the Blue Lagoon. Just a short drive from the airport the turquoise pools and the warm mineral water are nestled in the endless lava landscape.  Here you will be able to relax and swim in the soothing geothermal pools. Relax and rejuvenate for a couple of hours, enjoy a drink from the swim up bar and a silica face mask, leaving your skin silky smooth.

Meet the crew and board the converted fishing vessel, then head downstairs to the hull of the boat and stroll through the unique floating wildlife exhibition to learn more about the animals you may come across on your tour.

The boat is equipped with several outdoor viewing platforms, a heated indoor saloon with large viewing windows, a cafeteria where you can buy light refreshments, toilet facilities and a cloakroom where you can borrow blankets and overalls for the duration of the tour.

You can stay outside in the fresh air but you are also welcome to settle inside the heated lounge and keep watch from inside. One of the crew members will give a live commentary throughout the tour and notify you of any sightings so you won’t miss a thing.
