What you'll do

Blue Lagoon & Northern Lights Cruise

On arrival you will be met by your driver and driven to one of the ‘New Wonders of the World’ the Blue Lagoon. Just a short drive from the airport the turquoise pools and the warm mineral water are nestled in the endless lava landscape.  Here you will be able to relax and swim in the soothing geothermal pools. Relax and rejuvenate for a couple of hours, enjoy a drink from the swim up bar and a silica face mask, leaving your skin silky smooth.

In the evening your Northern Lights cruise departs from the old harbour. You will cruise out into the dark blue yonder of Faxaflói bay in search for the mystical phenomenon we call the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights, leaving behind the bright city lights of the capital Reykjavík. The open top viewing decks provide the perfect platform for witnessing the dazzling spectacle while the heated indoor lounge is a great place to take a break and warm up in between sightings. Your guide will be on hand to answer your questions while you enjoy Mother Nature’s light show and starry skies wrapped up in one of  the warm overalls provided on board. The indoor lounge also has toilet facilities and café where you can buy light refreshments.

Reykjavik Food Walk

In the tastiest sightseeing tour in Iceland, we will join a small group to explore down town Reykjavik through delicious local cuisines that you would never come across on your own! We will stroll around the city and visit 5-6 wonderful local restaurants with a fun & knowledgeable guide by your side.

You will visit everything from well-known ‘must visit restaurants’ to small family run businesses and secret local hangouts. While everything we will have on the tour is traditional Icelandic, we have not included  traditional delicacies such as fermented shark, rams testicles and sheep head, which are definitely an acquired taste!  Instead we explore why we Icelanders are justifiably proud of our locally grown and harvested food, focusing on the most delicious dishes such as fresh local fish , Icelandic lamb and local vegetables, finishing off with a yummy dessert and some Icelandic drinks to accompany it all.
