Our Host: Mariana & family

Mariana and her family are all passionate about food and will welcome you as if you’re family, giving you the perfect authentic Portuguese culinary experience. Their cookery breaks are so much more than cooking techniques and recipes, you will taste and learn real Portuguese ingredients, go to a local market, learn about the local products, meet a local producer and experience the local lifestyle and culture by meeting and cooking with a family in a traditional farm house.

The accommodation & kitchen where the cooking lessons take place is an authentic, family-run business where you’ll learn recipes passed down through the generations and learn the beauty of using fresh, local ingredients fresh from the sea and land. They even have their own organic garden onsite which produces wonderful fresh produce & herbs for your cookery lessons.
