Our Host: Jo Tytherleigh

England , Devon and Cornwall

I am a grower, holistic chef, and a yoga teacher. I am lucky to live on Harewood Farm in a magnificent hidden location. I love to help people feel connected to real food, which in turn brings us into a deeper relationship with ourselves, the land and with nature.

When we embrace our wilder selves by spending time in natural surroundings, we move towards a gentler way of living by feeling part of the natural world, not separate from it. Seasonal growing and cooking helps us feel more in tune, slows down the pace and moves us away from the more stressful situations in our lives.

I have been growing food using organic, permaculture & regenerative methods for 30 years. I have worked as a chef in many retreats around the world and I love finding the best local and seasonal produce wherever I travel. Now I live at Harewood Farm where we grow most of our produce year-round and eat seasonally and live in harmony with our surroundings. I run regular workshops in our fully equipped, beautifully appointed, field kitchen barn. Teaching age-old skills such as sourdough baking and fermenting vegetables.
