Definitely not your normal French wine tour - On the hills of Saint-Jeannet this authentic wine tour takes you on a journey through time. Where you'll learn about the ancient traditions of wine making on a visit to a traditional, family-owned winery and taste some of the finest wines of the area. Some of the vines here were originally imported 2000 years ago by the Romans.
On this tour you will start from Nice and, accompanied by your wine expert driver-guide, will drive through the beautiful wine country of the South of France. You will visit a family owned winery where the wines are produced in the traditional way. You will have the opportunity to try Merlot, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Grenache, Cabernet-Sauvignon, and Gamay during an exquisite tasting in the stunning setting of an authentic vineyard.
Discover the ancestral expertise in making wine and the age old process: “Ageing wine under the sunshine” whilst trying some of the regions finest wines.
Take time to wander through the vineyard admiring the beautiful views, before continuing on to stroll around the narrow ancient streets in the “Jewel of Provence” Saint Paul de Vence, a picturesque medieval village, with its cobbled streets and art galleries, a haven of peace for artists and celebrities who have made their home in this charming village.
