I was born in Paris and lived there for most of my life until I moved to Bordeaux for a new job to work for a wine company. During my time here, I completely fell in love with Bordeaux, as well as Strasbourg and Reims, and truly discovered what we call in French art de vivre (the art of living).

This was one of our best days in France, rain and all. I would recommend this tour company and Mathilde highly.
We had a wonderful tour of the Chateau du Clos Luce and Amboise. Our guide, Madeleine, was helpful and informative, using a notebook with pictures of the various historical castle residents to help us keep them straight. But more important, she was warm and friendly, chatting with us while in transit about the local history and culture, and growing up today in Tours.
We had a wonderful afternoon with Daphne touring Leonardo da Vincis home for the last three years of his life. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Daphne who was a lovely girl and a wealth of information about the places we visited and the region in general. This certainly is a beautiful area of France and we would recommend this company highly to anyone who is contemplating visiting the region. The afternoon was finished with a lovely picnic by
