What you'll do

Explore the land of the prestigious 1855 classified chateaux in Medoc, the home of some of the most prestigious wines in the world.

Discover the prestigious wines of the left bank of the Medoc!

Drive along mythical appellations which made the reputation of the Bordeaux wines. The specific terroir of the left bank produces powerful red wines. During this morning, enjoy visiting two wonderful chateaux.

9.00 am: Leave Bordeaux & drive to the Medoc Region. The guide will provide you with a lot of information about the Bordeaux wines.

10.00 am: Enjoy a warm welcome in a beautiful Great Growth Classified Chateau steeped in history. Wander through the vineyards, tour around the vat room and the cellar, listen to an explanation of the wine making process, all the way from the vine to the bottle. Finish by tasting the estate’s wines.

11.15am: Meet and discuss with people from a charming family run estate of the region, visit the property, listen to an explanation of the main varietals of the Bordeaux region and finish by tasting the estate’s wines while enjoying an aperitif with French delicacies (including fresh bread and cheese).

1:00 pm: Back to Bordeaux.

This experience runs on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday

Your tour begins when you meet your guide in the centre of Bordeaux, before you are taken out into the lush hillsides of the Medoc region.

At the end of the tour, you will be returned to Bordeaux.
