Rovaniemi is the capital of Finnish Lapland and is a vibrant town with shops, restaurants and bars to enjoy. The perfect base to enjoy all your winter activities.
There are direct flights from the UK to Rovaniemi in the Winter months, and Rovaniemi airport is just a short 15 minute drive from the centre of the town.

During the activities, guests will have access to thermal overalls and boots for that activity which are then returned after activity is over. They are extra clothing to add on your actual clothes and we recommend you to wear good inner layers, a warm hat, two pairs of thick socks and winter gloves. When you are not on activities you will also need warm outer layers as the temperature can be very cold.
Child ages are 3-12.

From Rovaniemi to Santa Claus village there is a frequent service throughout the day and the journey takes between 15 and 20 min one way. The reception will be able to give exact times during your stay.
The bus stop is a 3-5 min walk from the hotel. There are two buses which go to Santa Claus village - the number 8 and the Santa Express, both stop at the same bus stop. The price of the ticket is currently €3.60 per adult and €2 for a child age 5 +. The ticket is valid for 1 hour and so you can return on the same ticket, but realistically the return will be more than 1 hour later and so the same price will apply for the tickets for the return journey. Taxis are also readily available and the cost one way is around €25.
