What you'll do

Arrival Day

The yoga retreat starts from 4pm on Friday so that you can settle in and relax before the yoga class that starts at 6pm – 8pm and then dinner. Arrive when you can on Friday.







These luxury en-suite rooms combine a rustic charm with quirky modern twists. They are nestled in a courtyard formation around the Barn which is the yoga, dining and chill-out space. The main barn has underfloor heating throughout, wood burners and big cosy sofas in a living space to relax into.

Each bedroom has original artworks by renowned artist Oliver Barnett, giving each room a unique interpretation of a natural scene creating a perfect harmonious colour balance with the handmade curtains and cushions. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms have their own underfloor heating. They also have super comfortable, extra thick sprung mattresses and high-quality cotton linen.

A Typical Day

Your day begins with a silent meditation walk in the grounds, to energise you for the day. Then, enjoy a morning Yoga & Meditation Class, your first of the day, which focuses on energising and getting into a flow.

At 10:30, brunch is served. Wholesome, healthy, filling, creative, and a chance to chat to your fellow visitors. Then you have free time to read, relax, or stroll around the grounds.

On Saturday, enjoy a walk to Hill Fort with packed lunch, whilst on Sunday you can relax at the venue, drive to Holkham Beach if you came by car, or try other walks in the local area.

At 5pm, take part in an evening yoga and meditation class, before enjoying a delicious vegetarian feast at around 7:15pm. At 9pm, take the chance to sit by the fire pit and enjoy some star gazing.

Departure Day

We finish at 11am on Monday after the usual morning schedule and breakfast.

Michelle has always had a love of nature, travel and wellness since a young age and how the connection between all three is the best tonic for mental and physical well-being. Travel is in her blood as she grew up in Venezuela and Kenya and then spent her twenties living in the French Alps, Sardinia, The Dolomites and Japan. Having been a life long veggie and practising yoga since she was 17, yoga retreats is the combination of all of her favourite things.

Michelle spends her time working on the business development, planning and creating new holidays and getting creative with marketing! Most recently, Michelle has focused on sustainability ethos and making sure we are putting people and the planet as a priority. She also joins retreats so keep a look out!

I haven’t done much yoga before, can I come?

We have designed our weekends and weeks for people who love yoga, whether they are beginners or have been practising for years. All our teachers are very experienced and are more than capable of adapting the classes to all levels. Our ethos is about being open & friendly, aiming to spread the incredible word of yoga to people who perhaps wouldn’t have gone on a yoga retreat before. So don’t be shy, there is no time like the present to start your journey with yoga.

Do I have to attend all the yoga sessions?

Of course not, we understand we all want different things. Our two-hour sessions normally also include meditation or mindfulness, so it’s worth giving it a go.

What is the yoga like?

Morning yoga: During your wellness yoga retreat in Norfolk, you will be treated to 2 x 2 hour classes a day. Enjoy an energising flow class in the morning to increase flexibility and strength while making you feel relaxed, leaving plenty of time for meditation and savasana. Get what you need from each class by going inward and really listening to your inner voice and wisdom so that you can nourish and revive in the individual way that you need.

Evening yoga: The evening yoga class will be more restorative finding yourself in longer holds, allowing the body to open up in its own time. Feel grounded, calm and nourished from the evening practice.

Yoga will be practices outside weather permitting.

What is the food like?

The retreat is a plant-based company and takes great pride in creating incredible food on their retreats. The chefs create diverse and imaginative menus that really highlight the seasonality of local produce. We are able to cater to all dietary requirements.
