What you'll do

Chill out and enjoy the seclusion and privacy of the Safari tent’s peaceful location, it’s like being on your own island, as the camp is in a bow of the brook and accessed via a small bridge!

A walk through the orchard takes you to your own private picnic and campfire spot on the banks of the river Wye, with easy access for canoes.

There is heaps of room in here for four where you can enjoy family meals at the dinner table or relax on the sofa. There is a solid wooden floor, private double bedroom with an extremely comfortable hand made bed and a separate curtained-off den with bunk-beds.

A log burner is all set and ready to fire up, and the quirky kitchen facilities of this unusual place to stay are functional and fun, just about everything you might need is here.

Miles of private walks, fishing for those that want to try their hand (for an extra charge) and plenty of picturesque local spots to explore if you feel the need to get ‘out and about’.

Your bathroom facilities are only 10 metres away in separate cabin, hot shower, flushing WC and hand-basin with hot and cold water. Shampoo and towels are provided.

Maddle Brook Safari tent is totally off-grid. Heat your tent via log burner, with the wood provided, included on a fair use basis. Lighting via solar and candles all add to the sense of adventure!

There is a lovely large fire pit for sitting around at night, stargazing, which can be used for cooking too.
