What you'll do

Discover incredible eateries and hidden local gems to truly get under the skin of the city as you walk through the charismatic borough of Southwark, with your local guide, from Tower Bridge to Borough Market.

You’ll meet your local guide near the iconic Tower of London, then head out on a food tour that stops at six different wonderful food spots, plus an artisan gin distillery. You’ll try foods that reflect the cultural diversity of London, from incredible slow-cooked pork shoulder to fragrant Asian cuisine.

These will be the hidden, tucked-away spots that you might not find without the help of an expert guide, who knows the stands and the markets like the back of their hand. From the shady bustle of Borough Market to the railway arches of Maltby Street Market, you’ll discover some of the most characterful and atmospheric parts of the city.

Your guide will help bring the area to life by telling the amazing and little known stories of things that have taken place on the very streets, and as if you have an intimate knowledge of this corner of London.

Everyone has a story to tell, a food they either love to eat or make themselves. If I have to be the person that has to listen to all their stories with my belly, then I... Read All

What our travellers are saying...

Fantastic experience, even after COVID We had a fantastic experience doing the Hidden Gems tour with Eddie. It was great learning about the history of this side of London, and the food and drinks were delicious, it was great trying foods we wouldn't normally get the chance to try! Eddie and the food places had all the measures in place for safety and social distancing so everything worked smoothly and we were able to see and eat everything as pl
