What you'll do

Overview

Get away to Dorset for this action-packed weekend of activities like archery, axe-throwing and watersports in beautiful woodland and on the stunning coast.

This weekend away is the perfect retreat for a larger group looking for something fun, outdoors, and just a little bit different.

Over your two days in Dorset you’ll immerse yourself in the woods with axe-throwing, archery and survival skills experiences, and try your hand at professional venison butchery for a truly traditional and authentic way of preparing food in the UK, and enjoy a truly handmade venison stew around the fire.

Sleep under the stars in your own personal camping area and by your own campfire, and settle back with a beer in the evening to soak up the secluded atmosphere.

The next day you’ll set off on your choice of coasteering, stand up paddleboarding, or sea kayaking. Whether your group fancies scrambling across and leaping from rugged sea cliffs, or cruising calmly along the coast, there’s something here for everyone.

Arrival and Activities

Arrive at 14.00 and you will be taken to your campsite where you can settle in, before the activities begin. You’ll start your weekend with some deer butchery, axe throwing, archery and firelighting, all led by your knowledgable and entertaining guides. Enjoy a proper venison stew for dinner at 7ish, then relax with a couple of beers (that you’ll need to bring yourself) by the campfire in the forest, and stay in comfortable tents overnight.

Watersports

Make your own breakfast using your campfire (and hopefully the fire lighting skills you learned last night!) then meet your instructors at 9:30 for your chosen activity.

You’ve got the choice between coasteering, stand-up paddleboarding, or sea kayaking.

This will take up to three hours, before you depart at around 12:30 that day.
