What you'll do

Smithy Cottage sleeps 6 and has all the ingredients of a perfect getaway, including access to a heated indoor pool on the farm, stunning scenery and beautiful countryside walks.

Smithy cottage is the largest cottage on the farm and is all on one level. It can sleep 6 people in 3 ensuite bedrooms. There is one walk-in shower and two with a shower above a bath.

This beautiful, quirky place to stay has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, oven and a fridge/freezer. French doors connect the sitting room and the cottage’s large, bright conservatory.

There is also an enclosed private garden with stunning views of the English countryside, perfect for a morning cuppa or a sun downer and BBQ to end the day.

The Smithy has central heating  and a wood burning fire for those cosy nights in; a selection of books, games, jigsaws and DVDs are available to play or to watch on the cottage’s flat screen television.

The heated indoor swimming pool, just a few steps away is open from 9.00am until 8.00pm every day. The pool building also houses a small gym and a sauna. Just remember to bring towels for swimming and the sauna! The pool-house is on a rota system at the moment with each of the 5 cottages having exclusive use of the pool, sauna and fitness room for two 1-hour slots each day.

There is a pond with ducks, and an area with chickens and rabbits which you can help feed, it is the perfect place for the whole family.

Your stay at Smithy cottage will be a wonderful family holiday in the English countryside to remember, and with other cottages situated on the same site, it is also the perfect getaway for multiple families or large groups of friends. To see all properties on the site, click here.
