May Cottage is a perfect single story cottage, a lovely renovated farm building with views of the beautiful countryside. Picturesque country walks from your doorstep, use of a heated indoor pool and a great located for days out in Devon.

May Cottage is a bright, single storey, two-bedroomed cottage (one double and one twin) with super views over the rolling countryside – the ideal thing if you’re looking for a unique place to stay in the UK. It has a bathroom, an open plan fitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge/ freezer and living room, with flat screen television with freeview, DVD player and free WiFi.

French doors lead out on to a sunny patio area with furniture  overlooking the rolling fields- perfect for you early morning coffee, picnics and BBQs.

You will have access to the heated indoor pool which is open from 9.00am until 8.00pm every day, with a sauna and gym, and a  pool table in the games room on site. The pool-house is on a rota system at the moment with each of the 5 cottages having exclusive use of the pool, sauna and fitness room for two 1-hour slots each day. There is a pond area in the gardens which is great fun for the kids to visit the ducks and rabbits and even get to feed the chickens.

There are amazing cycle routes around the small towns surrounding the farm for the whole family to enjoy a a good selection of local restaurants less than 10 minutes away.

Location

The Farm is easily accessible, only a 15 minutes drive from the M5 and  by rail Tiverton station is only two hours from Paddington.

The popular town of Bampton, and the traditional market town of Tiverton are both within a few miles and have a great selection of pubs, restaurants, cafes and local shops to try!

The beaches of the North and South coasts are easily accessible (about 40 minutes drive to either coast) and spectacular Exmoor and Dartmoor are also a short drive away.

What time is check in and check out?

Cottages will be available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of arrival.

Is there a minimum stay length?

No! You can stay for as little as 1 night or maybe a week sounds better to you!

Is there a washing machine ?

Yes there is use of laundry facilities on site

Where are the nearest shops ?

The nearest large supermarkets are in Tiverton (6 miles away) – Tesco and Morrisons and there is a good range of local shops in Bampton, just 3 miles away. If you’d like to have your groceries delivered, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Asda all deliver here. Please ensure your groceries arrive after you!

Is the cottage dog friendly?

Well behaved dogs are accepted by prior arrangement at £20 per dog, per cottage (2 dog max). Dogs must never be left alone in the cottages. Dogs must not go into bedrooms or sit directly on cottage furniture. If your dog is likely to jump onto furniture, please bring covers for cottage furniture. Pet hairs should be removed from carpets before departure. Dogs must be kept on leads in on the farm grounds and poop should be scooped. For multiple cottage bookings, £20 covers the dog being in one cottage only. An additional charge can be paid if you would like to take the dog into other cottages. You can pay for your dogs upon arrival.
