Enjoy a trip to discover the unique wine culture of the wonderful Douro Valley and its breathtaking landscapes.

You will be picked up from your hotel or accommodation in the city of Porto between 8:00 – 8:30am, your tour guide will specify. Your guide will then introduce themselves and the other guests. The journey starts towards Douro as you learn more of the region on the way

The tour includes visits to three small local wineries, one in the morning and two in the afternoon, before coming back to Porto. At two of the wineries you will be in company of an expert local guide who will guide you through the facilities (lagares and cellars) and tell you about the wine making process as you taste their selected wines.

At the third, you will experience a selected wine tasting while they explain more about the wines.

For lunch, we’ll stop in the village of Pinhão, a historical village in the heart of Douro, at a traditional local restaurant. Lunch is a meal of fish, meat or vegetarian (we can also accommodate your meal if you have a gluten free diet – just let us know in advance). You’ll have this time to immerse yourself in the real Portugal through its unique cuisine.

As a bonus, we also make small stops for taking beautiful pictures and admire the surroundings and nature at local viewpoints during the day.

We’ll return to Porto for 6pm, with great memories and the hope that you have enjoyed one of the absolute best locations in Portugal!
